The proposed Chair is primarily a forum for education, discussion and development of research and educational capabilities to address intellectual capital in its widest sense.

The actions initiated by the Chair focus particularly on:

• Organising high-level research seminars (attended by guest professors)

• Organising workshops and seminars for public-sector and private-sector executives

• Organising an annual international conference

• Defining and launching a European research (PhD) programme open to other countries, and, potentially, an MBA in intellectual capital management

• Promoting the research capabilities of the Université Paris-Sud to potential sponsors and partners
